Yes, SMARTR deducts 1% of the selling price of the service paid by the purchaser/customer, as our modest compensation for facilitating the up-front payment on the booking page, which reduces "No-Show" incidences and provides the Service Provider with "locked-in" up-front cash flow that helps with managing supplies purchasing, forecasting, etc.

However, in addition to the 1% commission to SMARTR, our payment processor does also deduct their processing fee ranging from 2.9% + US30c (US/CA transactions), to 4.9% + US30c (if the transaction originates inside or outside of North America). If the purchaser is purchasing from outside of the US with a non-USD and non-CAD credit or debit card, then the payment processor will apply a Foreign Exchange (FX) fee up to 1%. Therefore, your Service Business will receive a payout somewhere between 95% and 92% of the list/selling price of the service, depending on the specific geographic location of the purchaser at time of purchase and the currency of their payment card.

PLEASE NOTE that Service Businesses can opt out of the online payment facility and wait to take payment from their clients at their local business location, via card payment or local currency cash. In that case, SMARTR is not entitled to any percentage of your directly received revenue.

Service Providers are paid each Tuesday for the previous week's Credit/Debit Card in-app purchases made on their booking page, with the funds, minus SMARTR's commission, being transferred directly into the Service Provider's designated receiving bank account.

You would have a very frustrating experience if every time you went to a different Facebook business page, the layout and formatting was completely different from others.

Therefore, every service business listed in the app, must utilise the booking page which we provide and their listing will be linked to the Sm@rtr® booking page, which is provided by our third-party booking solutions partner.

However, you can still use your existing calendar if it gives you the ability to sync with other calendars to avoid double bookings, but user of our app will only be directed to your business' assigned Sm@rtr® booking page.

No. You will have enough control to adjust availability on staff members' individual calendars or have them do it themselves. Any changes to your pricing or your uploaded media (logo, banner, photos) must be handled by Sm@rtr® support personnel.
